Default Official Baja-Forum "Chill 'n' Grill" 3 day event

this post will be updated regularly with pictures of the site and extra info as we plan things

I'm pleased to announce a 3 day weekend event for a forum get together.

    Date - 5th, 6th & 7th of August.
Location - Husbands Bosworth, Lutterworth, Leicestershire. (Just click a Place holder to get directions)

Costs - Drivers (unlimited cars) £5.00 Spectators £2.00 Children (each) £1.00

Large camping area for you to setup and also parking space available onsite.

Both a bashing area and a track for whichever is your preference.

Food & drinks (soft) will be available although you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please no fires!

Only £5.00 for the whole weekend, I think it will cost you more in petrol for your baja

More details to follow so clear up your diarys! We hope to see you all there.

    Edit - Ticket sales 22-04-2011

    Tickets are on sale now.

We encourage the purchasing of tickets online rather than on the day, we are only insured for a certain number of attendees. I doubt we will hit that number but you never know, we don't want to turn anybody away on the day.

Your ticket purchase is your entry to prize giveaways at the event, please buy your own ticket so we have your details to hand if needed and to gain entry to the prize giveaways. I know some guys are in groups and would find it handy to grab 3-4 tickets but its the only way to do the giveaways.

Print out the ticket and bring it with you on the day you arrive at the event.

Any problems with purchasing or if you don't have paypal just send me a message. Look forward to seeing you all there!

    Edit - Event Sponsors 12-05-2011

We have got a confirmed sponsor list for the event, I do need to put out a HUGE thank you and shout out to everyone that has supported this event. Its great to see the baja community coming together even from oversea's, I've really never known anything like it and it impresses me everytime.

So yeh a massive thank you to Neil at SilverbackRC, Sean at OBR, Clayton at Vertigo, Dave at Turtle Racing, Rob at InnovativeRC, Mark at UberRC, Tom at Phatdad, Kent at KillerRC, Gareth at MMR, Mark at TGN & Dave at DDM.

Also HPI Racing will be supporting the event which is great news and wasn't expected. They have also added something to their site which is great and you can view it here.

Its Terrys Birthday that weekend (6th August) so it would be cool to have it as originally planned. Plan to come down Bill, no doubt the inevitable baggage handlers in Spain strike will make you cancel your holiday anyway.
