mine helps out my brakes alot.

my brakes are bad at best, it only got worse if i kept using them (why hpi used plastic in the braking set up i'll never know, tis a dumb idea)

since the TR set up takes out alot of the stock plastic there isn't anything getting soft through the heat, so while my brakes still suck, at least i get to keep them, before they eventualy just stopped working altogether..

Sonic was on to me for ages to get one. I finally did a good while back. It makes any sort of brake work soooo much easier. It simplifies things alot. Does it better the brakes? If you're running a stock brake system then yes definatley. If you're running a aftermarket brake caliper already, then I don't think it will improve the functionality, but it will make it easier to work on. All in all, I think it was money well spent.

If you're running three pads then no don't run the springs. Or you can take the middle pad out, put back the ninja star and run the springs. But probably best to keep the three pads in and just not run the springs

Whats the difference to the brake set up that comes with the Tranny top plate (noticed you can buy it with or without, I assume so you can buy the one piece thing instead)?
