Default me 5 year old niece wants a rc car

just asked me niece what she wants for Christmas and it turns out she wants a RC car (so proud her) anyhow dont want to get her anything crap like the stuff they sell in toys r us.
So my question is what would you advice for a 5 year old budget about 100?

Exactly what I was going to suggest - HPI brought this out for the exact reason above.

A decent non-toy grade rc for the buyer of a young one to establish their true love for rc'ing without having to splash out

ha my niece is 2 and also wants an rc car!

she has never seen mine going as their 5th scales only at the moment but that dosent stop her picking up wheel wrenches and tools and trying to fix them
    Current Rc's:
    Petrol
    None ;(
    Electric
    NONE :(

Losi micro crawler. Slow enough not to get wrecked on its first outing.
