Just got the frame back from the paint shop, It got a Anti-rust powdercoat primer and is now ready to get painted with fluo orange. Just have to wait for better weather.

Finally a day without rain or too much wind, "Now thats what i call orange!" :

Just need to paint some more little details and perhaps some varnish over the whole thing. Also have made some aluminium panels for the roof and ordered some stainless steel bolts and nuts.

Started mounting the suspension bearings for the front hinge pins, mounting plate for fueltank and radiobox and did a full revision of the tranny, new bearings, diff, cups with Toobz and hemiboots. + Brand new OBR Prostock 30.5cc

Made some spacers and gathered some custom length of bolts to assamble the front suspension. Also noticed my Dominator exhaust did not fit right. The rear end didn't fit close enough. Will have to sort that out.

The pulstart handle hits the frame aswell, so had to turn it 90.

    It was a buzzy weekend...

I also started the engine for the first time, good compression. Can't wait to drive the beast, but first need to finish the last few body panels and wait for better weather.

Today it was time to get the beast out, altough i still haven't got my skidplate, I just couldn't wait any longer.

First some break-in of the engine on tarmac:

And in the afternoon having some fun in the belgian dunes:

1 lesson learned: powdercoating is the way to go, will do that on a rebuild

I'm also planning to powdercoat the aluminium roofplates. Maybe black, maybe silver.
