Good stuff! I can remember turning wooden chair legs at school on a lathe with a hand chisel, no precision control, just hand control. Scared the **** out of me when it dug in

I made some nice h/d alloy rear wing retainers ,not the best pic

Whilst I was there and with the wing retainers looking so good, I decided the rear wing needed a spruce up,I used some obr wing wrap I won in a competition

I thought it looks really good

Not baja related but I made some 1:1 wheel spacers today out aluminium the spacers are needed to clear the front calipers on a vw also my friend is fitting Porsche wheels on his car with a different size spigot , I've allowed for this by machining the spigot to suit the wheels and also boring the back of the spacer to allow correct seating on the disc

The health and safety bods will be after you for not having the guard in place.

How do you decide how much to take off the flywheel???

I'll make sure the guard is in place next time

The first flywheel I skimmed was my own so I used the method of trial and error to see how much was needed to be removed to give a performance gain without weakening the flywheel too much.

I've been running the flywheel for nearly 4 months and have had no issues

My plan was to take the baja for a spin today but rain stopped play

So instead I made some seriously heavy duty billet aluminium spring perches ,not only are they H/D but they raise the lower spring seat by 10mm too give you more pre-load on the spring ,ideal for jumping and serious bashing

Keeping with my theme of poor pics see below

The poor pics don't really do these justice poxy phone

I could but I'd need the shock and spring because the spring is bigger than standard and the shock shaft is 8mm iirc
