I might drop ya down but only if the list stays as is! Then the tools can come back to me, and all our lot can do the mod.

Funny enough theirs been 5 deaths since I started in march 2007, but only one person got squashed with a job. One roll fell out of the centres 220 tonnes, went straight through the machines bed and made a nice hole in the flour. Just half hr before that the opp was under that because some scrap jammed the conveyor, he went on sick for a few weeks after that.

So might as well do this mod then, am handy with tools been in CNC turning and milling all my working life 17yrs. Started doing manual machining first.
So would not have a problem doing it my self, but some may not be as handy or had the experience to so it. TBH I can't see why anybody should mess one up, as long as they run nice and slow.
I could quite easily mess it up! LOL you should see what I did to my engine head! I would love and happily pay a small fee for someone to do it for me. I push pens round a desk so although Im handy with a spanner cutting tools not so much...

Ya never know, I have had a chat with some on the list who live close to each other, and it may kill 3 birds with one stone.

    Dude when you get tools,

With the drill by hand just twist it into the carb body, and clean up the surface so it's shiny, but don't cut into it

Then get the reamer and do the same!
You should be able to tell instantly if it will leave a hole big enough doe the bearing?

Or put a photo of either side and we can look!

As before a small break through isn't going to overly hurt anything

on the 668, make small cuts and remove the swarf more than you think you should as the carb body has little material on one side of where the bearing sits, I found on test cuts that the swarf created the breakouts, the 771 carb has loads of metal to cut into
Do not underestimate my sensible side..................
