i just want it to look as mint as possible, also the carbon sheet will act as a easilly removable (1 screw per corner) extremely good looking cover for the internals(well atleast thats how im justifying it LOL)

hi you will need the rear lower plate and upper plate and the front top steering plate, get these in carbon and you could get it lighter aswell, mine weighs in at 27.2lb all stock stuff and full tank, i think the std baja is 27lb aswell
This build will be interesting hitman, it'll be a hard job to get that carbon fibre look good, you'll need black rims, black sandrail carbon fiber roof scoop.
black rims make any ride look better
Chopper can you tell me, do standard roof plates fit onto the chassis correctly? (if bolts were welded for mounting?)
by the way Roofchopper, payment sentany idea when it will arrive mate?

hi the roof is slightly wider but it fits long ways, you could fill with some panels or you could mod this part of the kit to fit the scoop your using, best thing is before you start the build collect all the goodies your gonna use and have them ready to trial fit as you build

can a have a pic of exactly what i will receive please? because im still not entirely sure about what you mean by "kit" lol
it was a good idea at the time though![]()

You'll have to do alot of welding mate, its gonna be a pain in the ass if you didnt realise,,.....
Please say you did, this is why its so cheap. Just read the bottom of what you bought in the link
no, i knew its was going to be a total pain in the ass of a build and alot of welding was involved (basically i put my hopes VERY low) but it will be worth it
i like my cars to be that little bit different from the crowd... goes with my lifestyle![]()

Thanks for the pic Chopper, nicely labelled should make it nice and easy for me to change the width of the roof to accommodate a scoop or light pod![]()

hey are these chassis worth getting, i have been debating it for a while, if they are where is a good place to buy one??
I jsut bought a HBZ one and IMO it looks great, but no engine as cracked my head the bash, but havent had a chance to give it a run with it on, i ordered an Obr 30.5cc machined and reed ported head to haul it around, but still is alot of weight,
the HBZ weighs in at 2kg and seanmcgraths RC4WD weigh in at 2.7kg, as its a full sandrail, as it goes underneath, but neither are a proper sandrail like vandals or roofchoppers,
I think vandals and roofchoppers are a serious investment ans great the they get rid of front bulkhead and chassis.
my donor is all paid for now and is getting collected from the seller on wed (my sandrail will be here by wed) so i cant wait to get it stripped and start fiddling with it (and seeing if that 29cc runs, i actually didnt notice it was 29cc untill it finished i thought it was standard)
