    not rc but 1;1 car,
330ci beemer with a sticky front brake,
    hot wheel and squeal ,
stripped the brake, piston stuck in the bore, so worked it free and pumped the piston out as far as I dare , pulled dust seal back and cleaned up the surface as much as I could,
a tad of lube, refit the dust seal in groove, back together and a quick road test and jobs a good un ,
will see how it goes now and if it does it again it can have a re con caliper on it ,

been there done it 100 times Paul ... you will be lucky if it lasts a couple of months ... better just clamping the flexi hose and blowing the piston out with compressed air then do it right mate ... while you're in there you might as well change the seals and it will last for years ....

that's all I want really gary mate, just needs to last a bit longer then I will just change it for a re con one ,
I would have done what you said mate, but flexi is crusty where it screws into the caliper and bleed nipple is really bad,
re con caliper is only 75 quid plus vat and a new flexi is about 20 quid plus vat ,
so the above was done just till I have a bit more spare cash ,
I changed the one on the other side last year cos it did the same thing, original calipers so not too bad on a 2002 car ,

Yes mate they are, might of been a dodgy one or something. I've contacted them so hopefully get a replacement. Might have to run it 2wd so I can use it tomorrow.

Out bashing today, absolutely glorious day for it, Ray left his transmitter at home, so while he nipped back for that, I made mischief with his Bajajaja
It took him a good 5 minutes to realise what was wrong LOL!
    Never a dull moment.
