    Default LWB sandrail rebuild

started test fitting my new LWB cage

the Dom can be fitted and removed with the cage still fitted up which is a bonus!

once this is working and running well, I'll break it down and have the cage blasted and refinished

Going to put the OBR 30.5 straight swap from my old sandrail. see if the pipe will wake it up a bit. The OBR was the first tuned engine I ever bought, never really been happy with the performance..... so this is the last chance! Failing that I'll get a 32cc stock

The Dom should def wake it up .
If i remember , you had the hornet pipe on it before ??
I have the v1 of that pipe and was never happy with the way it performed or sounded tbh .

Yeah it was swingy P's Bartelone pipe, only one that would fit in the old cage!
This new cage fits together much better, and has loads of room!

Going to copy your front plate mount

Got new main chassis for inside, rear chassis, kraken extended rear arms, extended ball drive, some KM alloy front hubs. Thinking about some of those DGI 3" extenders for the rear also

Nice list there , can see this is going to be a great build , with a cracking wide rear if you get them DGI extenders 👍👍

Post up a pic mate, I'm sure others would be interested to see.
It's slightly different on my LWB as the top plate also has a chassis to bolt to. But basically I'm using the body post hole in the top plate, and some 1/8th steel for the mount. It all fits just nicely

found a crack at the front end, should be easy to fix.
I'm quite tempted to rebuild the complete front end.... using some 3.2mm plate not the 1.6/2.0 used here
whens the next VAT free day at machine mart??
