    This looks awsome!!

Why do all the really good looking largescale tracks have to be so far away from Newcastle

PLANNING PROBLEM PUTS A STOP TO TRACK
Last tuesday morning we had a planning officer turn up and jump all over us, total shock to us was the fact we have done this track on a Conservation Area. As a result we have no hope for planning to be permitted and must roll it up and move it out within 28 days. Gutted in now way describes the feelings we have on this, we obviously weren't made aware of this before we started this track and a bunch of us have busted our asses to get this track done and personal money has also been put in. So that's the bad news, the good news is were still committed to bringing you an awesome track and were in talks with 3 different land owners in the South West area to get it moved and redone. More news on that once we know more and we've decided where were going. So if you want a chance to run this track in its current form at no cost come and join us this Bank Holiday monday 10.30am ish for a great days racing.... meet in the Diner for breakfast then hit the track.

    Default Another track update

Right a bit more of a positive update we've decided to have a go at getting the planing permission for the track it's a further unexpected cost but we need to give it a try. Until we find out with the planning office what's going on we have decided to open the track to the public at a cost of 10 per person not per car. The container is now onsite and in position. The planning processes is a very long winded so until we here either way we will be using the track. We will post up stuff like race dates and track meet ups so stay tuned. Any questions pls just ask

you probably already seen this or know this but check out www,planningportal.gov.uk
the planning faq section gives some info on what you can and can't do on conservation or green belt land,
there should be a section in there on checking if you actually are in a conservation or green belt area as well,
sometimes it's just some local thats put in a complaint just cos they don't like the idea of something,

Got to be worth doing just gotta show them theres a need for the track.
tell them all the local rc guys are bored theres not a proper track to run and have to use fields etc and that it will bring people from all over the uk and abroad when you start using it for events etc if it puts them in a good light in the public thats all they care about

    - saves being moved on from other land,as its hard to find a decent track nowadays thats not shared with bmxers or fruitbooters/scooters/mx bikes/quads etc
    - bring people and money into the community/local area

Honestly we will do everything in our power to keep this track where it is. But as a short term solution Run and enjoy and what will be will be.
