    Default Wheel nut advice

    BEAST.jpgBEAST2.jpg

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone can give me advice on wheel nut selection? I am using vertigo rear extenders and Silverback Simian wheels as seen in the photo there is not that much thread sticking through, is this normal? I shall be running on the beach mainly sandy conditions.

    Cheers

I run them all round on a 5b, had a multi roll and lost a wheel due to nut ripping off they only show 2 to 3 threads through wheel, they where made for the losi 5 with longer threads

Oh that makes sense, maybe i should take 3 mm off the simian wheel there looks to be enough thickness there for a few more threads on the nut.

    Thanks for your replies

Left mine has they are for now, the stock wheel nut would prob fit nice and flush. Nipped mine up then again just to make sure, so far so good. But more threads the better so will mod the wheel or axles at a later date.
