What a fantastic amount of money raised - well done to all involved with the build and fund raising - shows what can be done when people put minds to it!

Got to admit, that does seem a tad underhand.
If you don't want it, then sell it cheaply to someone who really deserves one.
I'm sure that would make a young enthusiast extremely happy.
    Just my opinion of course.

a few of us had this discusion a while back and it was said then that whoever won it could do what they wanted with it, keep it/sell it/break it or whatever they wanted with no guilt or anything,
you win it it's yours ,

Pretty much the same but i'd have like to see it for sale here first has this forum made it happen, IE i know it was you Garry but i mean this forums parts built it along with Laz building it. But surely first refusal comes to this forum i would have thought, never mind it's gone now and prob be forgotten or stripped and sold on it parts to make more money.
Not to worry the baja served a purpose

I'm posting this on behalf of the chap who bought it.
It's for him and his son to use, he's a good bloke and it definitely won't be split for parts or sold on for profit.
He's had one before, he knows what he's doing, sadly he had to get rid of his other one due to some complications with his little lad, but thankfully that's improved massively now and it's actually his son that asked him about getting another one.
So not only did it serve a good purpose in the first place, but it's gone to a very good home and to people who'll appreciate it.
He just wanted me to post that so you all know it's not simply being used for profit.

That's all good seeing it's gone to a good home, makes it all the more worth while.

    Cheers for the info
