Do love the look of these twins. Freaking awesome and just plain mean. Did hear a rumor that a member on here may do a twin homemade sand rail build

Hi all, Just thought I would update my build, here is a list of the parts I have added:-

    Flm shock towers
    Silver irc big bores
    Rcr brakes
    Tillotson carbs + outerwears
    New battery
    DDM alloy wheels
    Pro mx 70 clutch
    And a beetle shell.
This one is finished now (until I see something else for it that is)so now onto the other three,
    The Losi 5t is finished
    Dbxl just needs battery
And I've just rebuild a bzm micro engine to go in the shortyimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

The beetle shell looks great, really suits it and I like the old school Tamiya colour scheme.

How does the losi dbxl compare to the Baja in your opinion?

Hi, can't really tell you anything about the dbxl as I haven't used it yet, I'm trying to get as many as I can up and running for bashfest. I will try the dbxl out in a few weeks hopefully and see how it goes.

Cool, let us know how it goes. What engine is it? I should have 3 bajas for bash fest and my fg marder too. One is a kraken caged car. I may even have the new Vekta5 by then but the dbxl does seem a good 4 wd option and I just don't like the 5ive shape at the rear. I have never like enclosed body cars as much as the more buggy types as the shells always seem to echo in a plasticky kind of way.

Yeah will do, it's got a 29cc in it with a 990 carb and a samba pipe so should go ok.
