    Default irc big bores advise please

    Hey guys ive finally got me some irc big bore shox runnin standard front springs and hd rears for my 5b . Heres the fun bit what wt oil front and rear would anyone recomend i run 40front and rear in standard shox with 3hole pistons and it works spot on .help!!!!!!

    I run 40wt in front and 60wt on rear. 4 holes pistons all round. Works for me. But its always a personal taste thing really.

    I've got 4 holes all round
    25wt progressive springs on front
    55wt mid-progressive on rears
    If it's any help

    I have standard springs front and dh springs rears if I want to really beef it up for mega air time

    I have 60wt oil all round in my truck but can't remember what springs are on it.

    70wt front with stock rear springs
    95wt rear with HD springs
    And that works spot in for my heavyweight truck 👍

    As I said personal taste . . . . Four people with four completely different set ups.
    My spring are standard rate rears on the front and HD rears out back.

    Rears only and have 600 sct standard holes and springs
    CNC milled carbon fibre/Aluminium baja/losi parts stock, modified and custom.

    Everyone will have a different set up for there car and driving style.

    My truck weighs in excess of 20kgs and is built for bashing and jumping, tried a few different wt's of oils and found the current set up best suited my needs,
    When bashing of rough ground she stays nice and level and doesn't bounce about at all.
    But as you said everyone's preference will be slightly different you just gotta try various wt's of oils til yoy get the best results your wanting 👍

    Weighing in at 20KG plus I'm not surprised it don't bounce I bet the thing makes its own tracks lol.

    Yeah it has changed a tad but it's still the same old truck just got the bumper and light rack at a really good price 👍
    Will have to dig her out to get you a side on pic as don't think I've got an up to date one on the phone
