Default vertigo 12mm hex bell on hpi alloy carrier

i've been thinking about this for a while, and whether it would work or not ,
done it now, and is a simple mod,
all i did was use losi bearings 28mm x 15mm x 7mm deep, then made two 2mm spacers that fit inside the carrier to space the bearings out to 20mm outside to outside ( hope that makes sense )
pics below will give a cleare view of what i mean ,
everything fits with no slop and is smooth as butter ,
car still has my 55t black magic steel spur on at moment, but this will be getting changed to blackbone steel spur and the ti carrier i got from dean (baja5b-ss),
also i will have to make a small spacer to be able to use the vertigo losi pinions in the larger sizes in the future ,

thanks everyone for the positive comments ,
will see how the slightly skinnier bearings hold up ,
