    Default LWB Sandrail build (finally!)

After a little while (only 6 years ) I've finally bought a sandrail.
    Roofchopper, of course, LWB.
Just waiting for it to arrive now, it's in a nice minty yellow, which I like!
At the moment funds are a tad tight, so it will be a budget build, rather than an all out brand new shiney build.
But thought I'd post a topic up anyway.
The cage isn't here yet, but I am currently sorting bits out that I have and what I need, shall post up a list and if any of you chaps have anything laying around, drop me a PM!

So here's what I need, or at least, the stuff I know I need right now without actually starting the build and realising I need that one little that obviously holds everything together

Front hubs (or one Uber one, as I have a new Uber one sat here)
    Tranny plate and brake mount
    Discs, hex, pads.
The current alloy clutch carrier I have looks like it's on it's way out, so could do with a replacement one of those.
    Enclosed alloy wheel nuts.
    Rear hub carriers
    Front top plate
Rear shock support bars (that go from inside the suports, to the rear bulkhead)

yay, you bought it dan ,
and in my opinion your doing the right thing, take your time and make it a build seperate from your other car, that way you still get run time and have a project on the go as well ,

I couldn't bring myself to break my other mate, not at all, I've owned it over a year which everyday is a new record lol, and I've bought and paid for every single part on it, so I can't take it apart.
I know I need a lot for this build, mainly shocks, dog bones and a bunch of other stuff so far, it will be worth it to have two again.

Parts mate.... Just sat sorting everything out at the moment, I thought I had a bit more variety, but I've got quite a lot of the same stuff like 2-3x lol.

    Dog bones.
Front hubs (or one Uber one, as I have a new Uber one sat here)

Shocks (I have one front shock but ideally want a matching set)
The current alloy clutch carrier I have looks like it's on it's way out, so could do with a replacement one of those.
    Enclosed alloy wheel nuts.

And some stuff that isn't absolutely essential but if anyones selling any of the below, please give me a shout.

Wheels (ideally HPI 'star' rims or Silverbacks) for a 5B.
Yellow Swingy P shock limiting cables.
Some kind of exhaust, I have a stock can at the moment, but ideally looking for a V2 Dominator or maybe a side pipe.

Thought I'd just update this, got some bits and pieces done today, servos fitted into the battery box, rear shock brace on and fuel tank all sorted.
Rather gutted upon inspecting the engine that was due to go in it though to find a dud head (exhaust threads are knackered) so got all my engine bits currently stripped down and going to rebuild one tomorrow, hopefully I have something that matches, bore and stroke wise.

None of these pictures shows the cages true colours, it's more like somewhere in between the two, not as dull but not as bright!
This is roughly how much longer it is than a standard Baja for anyone who wanted to know.

Getting cracking on with some bits and pieces.

Just waiting on some shocks from Paul, still in need of the bits in the first post though, ideally need the rear hub carriers ASAP.

    Awesome Paul, thank you

I've also had a very kind offer from Rev to do me some cheap anodising, so it shouldn't take me an age to sort out some kind of colour scheme either!
