I have always liked that rail.

I know that they are hard to work on and a lot of people seem to shift them on because of it. We all make quick release roll cages on our 5b's so why can't you make a quick release rail yourself.

All you would need would be some tubing that was the same diameter as the tubing on the rail. You could make it if yourself it you had to. The metal is thick enough to be able to put locking wire or split pins through. Would make them so much easier to work on

i've always liked this rail as well andy , and i finally got my grubby little hands on it ,
and to be honest, there not bad to work on as long as you remember what order to take parts on and off in,
i might change my mind on that by the time its finished though
but the rail will be kept long term by me, and will get dirty and abused ,
lots of custom parts to make/ mod with it being a shorty, but i love making stuff ,

Everything going well here in Holland, Hope you are well. The rail is flying now that the engine has loosened up everything works great. Only problems I have had so far are loosing wheel nuts on the Silverback Simian wheels, which are for the losi, so I need to get some extended wheel threads and problems with the red push kill switch on the engine not making good contact and causing starting problems. Looking forward to seeing your shorty come along. I have a few bits if interested new RCR brakes not used in packet and complete set SS shocks upgraded rings springs and losi shock oil.
    Anyway all the best

Get Rev to get anything you make all anodised and matching, if you hadn't already planned for that lol.
Should help everything 'suit' each other.
Have you got any kind of colour scheme in mind yet, or do we have to wait?
