had to have a slight rethink cos couldn't get the throttle servo to fit on my first top plate ,
so made another plate and gave it wings ,
just made it a tad wider so i should be able to get the servo over to one side a bit more ,
not got a lot done cos been out half the time ,
but heres a couple of pics,
    as always, thanks for lookin

Sideways is a good idea... I may very well have to do something similar for my 5B Shorty, I seem to have messed up somewhere along the way spot on machining

got a bit more done today,
it don't look like much, but this has been doing my head in for the last few days ,
had trouble with the tank mount hitting the steering servo, so thats been in out in out etc,
in the end an slight trim and a cable tie fixed it ,
put two locating bolts into the bottom of the steering mount as well,
    should keep everything tight,
re drilled and tapped some of the screws to m4, and countersunk the heads,
reshaped the throttle servo mount a bit,
and started to butcher a battery box,
i have no idea where the battery is gonna go at the moment, have a few ideas, but will look at that a bit later ,
also deannodised a few more parts ready for polishing,
    few pics,
and as always, thanks for lookin ,

    thanks dre ,
i don't know where lea or chris had the battery when they owned it, but there is no room whatsoever to get one between the tank and the steering servo ,
i have the servo as far forward as i can, and the tank as far back as i can,
i will get one in there somewhere though ,
defo gonna have to go with a life battery

    no mate ,
battery box needs to be flat but cut down and sat flat on the top of the servo plate,
i've had a look how previous owners of this rail had the battery and it looks like one will fit in the battery box,
thats if i make it the right way

but all in all it went pretty good ,
surprised how strong it is again as well ,
