Default DX6R spectrum anyone got review on it

Starting to look for a better controller setup. Like the idea of one with telemetry and like the dx4 c,s,r but then I saw the DX6R and think it looks awesome!!!

I know it's a lot of money but I do like my gadgets and thinking of getting one if range is also good.

    Anyone using one?

i have a dx6r and i am having problems with it not working right with my kill switch.. it has some good features, but they release the controller with all singing and dancing receivers... stating built in telemetry.. only to find that not only are you having ur pants pulled down over the price.. but if you want to use the features of the receiver you have to pay about another 50 for the sensors..because the only thing that is built in.. is the slot for the sensors...but i really like new tec and the silly bank keep giving out credit.. lol...

What a pain.. now just hope its worth it.. this is what i had to do to get the rpm sensor to work.. well i hope it works..the next pain to deal with is setting it up on the transmitter..

Update it didnt work i think its the wrong sensor for the job.. up to yet not all that impressed in the dx6r's support or telemetry functions..

The dxr6s dont work with killer bee v1 kill switch. It will work with a switchblade kill switch, not sure about others.

There is no spektrum sensors for the rpm that have the micro plug other then an aircraft one that wont work properly. I am waiting for spektrum and the rc shop to find out how i can now actually use the features that bought the transmitter for, i will let know how that go's.

I race with 1/10 car and High level spektrum transmitters are not so well build and faster/precise as SANWA (or Futaba).
So if you can spend for an high level radio go for Sanwa that at the moment has the best product.

Futaba all the way, have the 4pk but do like the newer 4px..

Stay away from Spectrum is the only thing i'd say about them..

:gunsmile:IT'S BETTER TO BURN OUT THAN TOO FADE AWAY !!!! !
