    thanks miles ,
the fan was the one main concern I had left mate, but looks like its gonna work out just right ,
I left a space between the fan and the heatsink as well to allow better airflow and so the fan don't get too hot,

and yeh the hammer cage is way stronger than a kraken or tcc mate, well its stiffer is what I mean, so will help protect the fan more

today I finished the fan bracket off, ,
lined the bracket uprights up and bolted em to the heatsink,
then realigned the tto temp sensor rings so they will clear the fan once fitted,
also cut a hole in the roof panel for an intake for the fan,
put a carbon surround around it and bonded a piece of gauze in there , painted the gauze red while I was at it ,
finally I bonded the fan into the top section of the bracket, used black rtv silicone cos it stays put, but can also get the fan out if I ever bust it by cutting the rtv with a knife ,
fan needs leaving overnoight now so the rtv goes off , then can fit it,

a few pics below, and as always,
    thanks for lookin ,

    quick update again ,
been workin on the fan again,
made a wiring harness doodad and also made a switch holder for the fan on off activatin thiga ma bob,
fitted the extra servo into the battery box as well,
just need to find a home for the fan battery now, but may be able to slide it in behind the battery box, but will make a firm foam holder for it as well ,
connected everything up to test, and success, no magic blue smoke or hot wires ,
few pics below, and as always,
    thanks for lookin ,
