    bit of an update ,
I removed everything from the tank plate again and removed two tags that aint used,
then made two 1mm spacers to space the mesh plate back up to the right height,
fitted the spacers under the plastic mesh plate blocks at each side then rebuilt the parts back onto the tank plate ,
sloe progress at the moment cos of the weather oop north , it cold ,
few pics below, and as always, thanks for lookin ,

    bit of an update ,
started making the carbon mesh plate/top plate,
drilled out the holes for mounting and centre diff hold down etc,
then marked outline and rough cut outline,
then basic shape was made, removed top right countersunk holes cos its not used ,
and left some material around the top left countersunk hole to add strength,
still needs final shaping, deburring and countersinking as well,
but changed the shape a tad cos stock ones symmetrical, and doesn't really need to be,
then made a new extender for the pull start as well,
had to rewind the spring cos numpty here let it all unwind ,
    and fresh cord fitted,
a few pics below , and as always, thanks for lookin ,
