so I made two carbon spacers for the rear section of the cage, actually I made four cos I cocked the first ones up ,
but the bad ones can be re used for the smaller ones I need to make,
tweeked the rear anti roll bar arms a tad to get more clearance ,
found / made spacers for the new adapter plates, and then fitted it all,
everything clears with plenty of space now,
roll bar arms are close on full suspension compression but they clear ,
waiting on some new insulator blocks and filters etc to turn up now as well,
    a few pics below,
and as always, thanks for lookin

    update time again ,
right, so I refitted the tank and bolted the rear end up fully now,
fitted two clunks and fuel return, vent is in the cap,
new tygon fuel line as well ,
also built the battery box up again to check fitment of everything, all is good apart from one oversight ,
I forgot to take into account the clearance of the linkage, both steering and throttle/brake with the air filters,
so as you will see in the pics, its too tight,
but have a couple of parts on order to correct the issue,
well i'm 99% sure what I have in mind will work ,
space is getting very very tight around the engine now, but its gonna work ,
    a few pics below,
and as always, thanks for lookin ,

just a mini update today ,
waiting for air filter bits to come so I can crack on with that, they will be here tomorrow ,
so today I made the other two adapter plates for the rear section of the cage,
added a support tube between the plates to stiffen it a tad, it aint really needed , but couldn't help myself ,
so rear section is now all tied in and bolted up again,
cage still needs some bits n bats at the front though, but nowt major,
    few pics below,
and as always, thanks for lookin ,

    update again ,
modified the stock hammer air intakes, added a carbon adapter plate so I could fasten the alloy inlet doodads to em,
then cut down the alloy doodads a bit so I could get the filters right down to the bottom of em,
velocity stacks , that's what there called ,
so intakes are close but clear the pipes now,
they still need a tickle inside with a dremel to reshape the plastic slightly for airflow,
and some minor shaping and deburring on the outside,
and a couple of rivnuts need squishing into the carbon as well,
decided against the tgn angled short stack filters and ended up going with the uni filters that were on the twin when it was in the baja,
these give more distance from the pipes, but just touch the inside of the roof of the cage,
gave the stainless pipes a bit of a buff as well,
they want another buff but I prefer the look when polished as to leaving em with the heat marks on em,
they will soon be blue again anyways ,
