Thread: Lifepo 2000mah Battery.. is enough?

Default Lifepo 2000mah Battery.. is enough?

I bought one weeks ago my first Baja.

I would like to replace the old 2000mah NiCd battery (it works, but i prefer new tecnology battery).
I see the turnigy 2000mah battery for 13 euros.

The dimensions are: 90x42x16 (mm) and I think it could fit without problem.

The question is: 2000mah are enough for 1 or 2 hours of bashing?

that will do a few hours bashing easily mate ,
I have a 1600mah life battery in my shorty sandrail . and that's fine for an afternoons bashing,
but which car are you putting the one you have into ? baja or losi ? the baja battery box is less than 90mm long internally if I remember right ,

Thanks! so 2000 would be fine.

I have an HPI Baja 5B.
I found the killer RC 6000mah lipo battery, and the dimension are: 99x45x25 (mm) and the battery seems to fit fine.

But this afternoon I check the measure directly on baja battery box.

yes mate a 2000 will be better than the 1600 ,

and lol, yep, I bet the 90mm will fit in a stock battery box, I have a modified, shortened box on my sandrail and was thinking of the size of that one ,

if you get stuck for space killer rc do a taller box lid, relocating on/off switch helps with space for rx lights etc
