Default ALX 71 Gold 28/46 Gear Custom pipe

First run in 3 weeks got my replacement brp.

Didn't run to bad I was happy with the run till I seen my rpm.
Couple things I'm changing for my next run hoping to see more.

Wheelie bar held up great I made with the help of Dean (bonehead-rc)
    Thanks mate

looks and sounds to be way too lean arron mate, especially after the long wide open runs,
seems as though the hotter it gets the leaner it runs ,
you will get there in the end though mate, just needs a little fiddling around

bebop bar works miles better than the long bar you had on as well, looks much better as well mate ,

+1 on lean its idling to high after a WOT run, wheelie bar does look well:thumb similar to the one being made on hbf

You sure that's not my pipe blowing ?
That roll blown my sealer off my pipe.

See you very well maybe right but my experience with lean on these carbs
After a long full throttle pass if the idle doesn't die down after couple seconds my low is lean.

    My idle dropped down.

pipe wi no sealer wont have helped arron mate,
but still sounds lean, when you get back on the throttle after a long run it misses a beat,
what I said aint a criticism arron,
I just don't wanna see you blow the engine up mate

No mate I'm here to listen and learn also.

Just strange to think it's lean on the low. The low hasn't been touched and can even hear the gurgling before I roll it.

Will see how it sounds next run when it's sealed.

Temps are all in check also

lol arron, well I listened and watched the vid a few more times mate ,
and that miss only seems to happen after a flat out run when you get back on the throttle,
and the high idle as well after the same ,
I just been looking at your alx build thread trying to see how the fuelling was set up,
from what I can see its pulse from the cylinder to carb on a separate line, and a fuel inlet from the tank, no return from what I can see,
but looks like you do have an external vent on the tank,
    now my thoughts were,
    is that vent blocked ?
or is that vent not big enough ?
what I mean is , is the tank creating a vacuum on a long run then when you get back on the throttle there aint enough fuel there
    hence the hiccup, ,
and then the vacuum bleeds off after a few seconds and all is back to how it should be,
so essentially its sucking too much fuel for the vent to handle,
just a thought arron mate ,

    thats a something I haven't thought of.
I lost my value and no longer run one I just have a 1.5mm hole I drilled in my fuel cap for now so that very well could be and issue mate nice one.

    I will check it over.

As for what carb it's a 28mm and no return line.
Pulse line from side of the case to the top of the carb.

    Thanks for the help

Don't think its the low that's lean, I know when my 990 is lean on high it revs high after a w.o.t pass until the low returns it to normal idle,

Took it out today after work ****ing disaster
Richened both low and high 1/8th turns

    Reeds .4 solids

Well let it warm up soon as I touched the throttle bogged right down so I taken the 1/8 on the low back off that
got me going then I fattened the high little more hit just under 15k on a short run then hit a huge puddle socked my truck Day ended lol.

Paul need to buy a new breather valve but I made sure my cap wasn't block drove a drill in it again may have been blocked.

Keep you lads updated on next run that's longer and may show more

CNC milled carbon fibre/Aluminium baja/losi parts stock, modified and custom.
