    Default Help or advice please?

    Hello all,

I have an issue with my rear mud flaps on the Kraken.

As you can see from the photos, because of the axel extenders the mud flaps and wheels are way out of sync. Has anyone addressed this issue or does anyone have any ideas how I could?

I know it's minor but it really annoys me. I would welcome any comments other than just remove them.

    Cheers people.

    Milo/ Dan, Milodan, Miles.

Miles can you get a bit of alloy tubing and slide it over the plastic part and then bolt the flaps on only further out ?

Hey Gary, that's the exact kind of thinking I'm after. I think that might work, I was thinking of making thin metal plates to do a similar thing.

Cheers mate I will have a look for my old bent 5B cage tubes and see if they fit for a starter.

it means you can make nice wide flaps and i would heatsink the alloy with black heatsink and put a nice wee rubber cap on it as well ...

I have exactly the same issue on my SC Miles, I thought about extending them out as well and tried it temporary to see what they looked like and to be honest it didnt look right extended either so I've taken mine off all together and I much prefer the look without em.
But that's with the SC body on. Yours would get away with extending them I reckon because there's no rear arches .

Good Idea what Gary says....go for it mate and see.
