    Did this mod today, looks quite neat.A very good and cheap mod.

    did this mod about 10 months ago, and to be honest they are very good, in fact i like them more than the socks, im going back to the inner tubes, when my shock socks, wear out
    anyone doing this mod , will not regret it !!!

    and also dries out quicker being rubber, unlike some of the socks, that dry out from the top to bottom if they are the fabric type

    Wink inner tube mod

    Good idea as my rear dom has burnt a few holes on my fabric socks ? so when i get it back from fair deal fabricators tomorrow ? hopefully with a 20mm extention piece welded on it then i will fit some of these

    Cool acf 50 rusty springs

    Hi chap read ya reply to the great spring mod, try a spray called ACF 50 i uae it on my bike in winter its brilliant for rust designed for marine electrics so should be great for rc 13quid a tin but last ages cuz ya dont need much

    will this only size work like mountain bike inner tubes or that specific size?

    The size mentioned is a nice snug fit. Mountain bike tubes might be a little saggy/loose lol

    go to dumpit site loads of old wheels.i taped my shocker nuts they keep unwinding once in tubes

    You could try some downhill tubes they should be big enough

    Default outerwears shock socks

    I have the outerwears shock socks on mine and have noticed that were the springs move inside them they have taken off loads of the paint from the springs. They haven't rusted yet though as they constantly get rubbed by the socks. If i had known they would take off the paint i would have used the inner tube method.
