    Default Rear lighting.

Looking to add some bling to my Baja and fancy putting a few lights on her, especially rear, may even try some kind of brake lights.
Anyone done this and can point me in the right direction.
The car is a bit of a shelf queen so it needs to look good.

    Default Rear Pod Mounting

    What you will need:

    2x pods
    3mm allen wrench
    Cordless drill
    2mm drill bit
2x self tapping screws (i used some old tamiya ones)
    Phillips/ posi screwdriver
Sharp Knife (adult supervision maybe necessary)
    30 mins

Having the rollcage mod helps, you dont have to remove the rear of the cage as you can just unscrew the wing mounts.

1: First off, you need to remove most of the locating nubs on the pods, the 2 little outer ones can be completely removed. The big main one i cut off half way to help locate into the wing risers/mounts.

2: Drill 2mm hole in the remaining part of the nub on the pod.

3: Remove rear roll cage assembly.

4: Undo the screw that goes through the wing mount and into the orange cross bar and swing the wing mount up.

5: Push pod into wing mount and screw through from the back.

Repeat for both sides and your done.

    Thank's Manic

The fitment of the rear pods work very well, however the brake light is very impractical. Everything is hard wired with no quick disconnects so removing the radio box lid alone (not including the box) will require cutting of the cables

Looks good and would suit a shelf queen.

its about time we invented a very small and simple wire connector for that very reason.

iv'e just done a rear light mod to mine...
    here are some pics...

im using the killer rc light controller to get the brake light and indicator effect.

all the lights are on a quick release so if i need to remove back just unplug ive also got some plugs by radio box..

    Default Thanks for all that

That is brill thanks. Not only are you good with the Baja but brilliant uploading vid and split screen.
We mere mortals can only look on in admiration.
Thats great, only thing i may have to modify is the brake lights as i dont think i can mount them on the aerofoil thingy.
Thats certainly pointed me in the right direction Topper. Brill.
Thanks for the time and effort to display it.
