Is motorbike fork (petroleum based) oil the only oil i can use in my shocks?

At the moment i'm running stock oils, in a 12.5kg shorty baja 5b... can anyone recommend me a better set up?

Was thinking 40wt in the front, 15wt in the rear with stock springs all around, darksoul o rings, built up with green associated green slime in the hope to fully seal it ... but i'm not sure...
