Default Videos from our bashes and get togethers!

ok well here's the only vid that I got with the normal video camera as I was enjoying driving too much to stop and record

It's only Sonic2810 in the video. I had the onboard video also but it was too shakey to watch without getting a headache or stroke Will get working on a better onboard chassis type mount for next time.

    Enjoy

    Jon

    Poor Irish Bashers forum

Well myself and Echlin got out yesterday for a few hours of fun. We had both seen a dirtbike track a few times over the last months on the M4, so we took a trip yesterday to find it, and we did. Took awhile though

well we got there and it was closed so we pulled a sneaky sneaky and....... well actually we just simply walked on

It was a great place to bash around and because of the dry weather was rediculasly dusty, which was fun. We got a good few hours of driving in so all in all it was a pretty good day! I didn't manage to get much footage cause as soon as i started recording Echlin got stuck in the mud! So here's a quick vid of that and I recorded myself spinning around making dust clouds

look forward to the Irish bash in July.... everyone still up for it?

yep again, was a prime location and next time will also take a look at the other area you were talking about where can do the hill climb etc. Gotta love that one jump there too myself and Paul(ngun200) just hit that over and over and over again, great stuff!

Here's a quick vid of ngun200 aka Evel Knievel I'll get some other vids sorted later too.

the parts which suffered damage were all cracked but thankfully held together well but still need replacing.my dom and crankcase took the biggest hit.no more small jumps for me ,bigger is safer "my logic" bigger jumps have safer angle's of descent, the flat horizontal crash really hurt.

some serious damage there paul, I'm surprised at how well it held up for the remainder of the day!

Here's my last video, showing a couple jumps, a quick clip of the punisher and the pit area

    good vids there Pauls lol.

seems as though the 2 speed is not down shifting but sticking in second gear?

ngun200, yours seems to be flying now again! It's a well deserved top end for your baja

Yeh I'd agree there, did you fit the two springs? when you set the grub to close to what I have? if you're only running the one spring then yeh you're guaranteed its gonna engage pretty much when your clutch does.

you seen how my car was,but i dident think it was my elcon clutch, well that was the hope anyway.i took the engine apart but the head even though its preety old was still in decent shape, the cylinder was smooth and the piston was fine so looked at the clutch and the back plate was broken.the pads had no ware but ill cut the story down on what happened next.i rounded the bolt on the clutch trying to get it off, tried a few ways as i wanted to use the housing and the crank case for the new head and dident want to cut anything.i tried to get the pads off but broke one,so i broke the case, the clutch and crank case with a hammer and threw it in the bin, expensive night in the shed but i got it running again but iam back to a stock clutch.if i get money again ill get another elcon but ill get the bash plate for it too, just to be safe.
another vid from today, and the first run with the new cylinder.still pretty rich though but very happy as its back to how i would like, video never do them justice.ill stand on the bank next time.cheers for the spur, greatly needed, forgot i had none left .
