Default One year later Phatdad 4mm bones and out drives

I have been running these Phatdad bones and out drives for a year now. I am tearing my shorty Baja apart for a winter rebuild and couldn't believe how good the condition was of these parts. These parts have seen their fair share of on-throttle landings, big air and track time. Been using these with a OBR full mod 27.2. The pins are a little worn and I will replace them. Wish all the parts on my Baja held up like these have!

    Enough said, Pics:

The ring broke off of one of these out drives but it does not effect function at all:

Were you running boots and grease?

My Phatdad 5mm-4mm combo wore crazily bad.

The 5mm end wore nearly half way through the pin. And the 4mm wore about half as bad as yours.

They only had one run from new. On sand about 3 tanks.

I wasn't running boots or grease.

Didnt look at cups but id say they're grand.

    @ Echlin W

Yes, I always run with boots and grease even though its a pain. Occasionally, I re-grease them.

I'm a little confused....my bones have 4mm pins in each end and I run them in the 4mm slots on the cups. I don't understand the "5mm end and the 4mm end", should be one or the other.

You have to use good boots and grease guys. The parts wont last for crap running them dry with no boots.
