    Threshold Dune filter
    Hostile Tires a must

    Hostile 56t gear
    Hostile 18t pinion
    Hostile Hiems
    GH front shock tower support
    RPM front bumber
    CPI BB pipe
PhatDad shock shafts front and rear
    PhatDad axles
    DS Toobz
    Desnuts brakes
    HPI SFL-30 steering servo
    Hitec 5645 throttle serv
    PA racing steering servo mount
    Spectrum Rx
    DPR wheel bearings
    DPR Screw kit (12.9 everywhere)
    DPR 28.5 experimental oval motor
    C clip eliminator mod
    Turtle brake caliper
    Turtle Quick change tranny case
    Turtle Gear plate
    DDM enclosed cluth carrier
All the little mods to make her handle and go fast.
I have a few more parts I would like to add before the Nats. I have a couple months to pull this one together and get the other two tuned for racing. This is what I feel will be a dependable race rig. More parts are on the way to get her complete. Scored an RCRC body soon to be painted Red White and Blue. Hopefully the post man drops off the control arms today.

Sounds like a nice build bob....are you restricted by rules on what you can run?

Btw I don't know what half of that list is, lol

Not too many rules. I think there are regulations on the body. The RCRC is regularly produced body so it should be fine. If not there is allways duct tape for race day. I'm pretty excited to drive it. I only have a couple more parts coming in for it to get it done.

So you can put pretty much a hop up on that you want then?
Did you compete last year? How did you do mate?

Is it Tarmac or off road?

I didn't get a chance to compete at the Nationals last year. This will be my first year for this race. I did compete at Bajafest last year and was top qualifier for the buggy class. Unfortunately rain kept us from running the mains. I had a friend running one of my engines in the EDM class that finished second, and two guys on the race team finish very well in the off road.

I'm going to contact John Shultz from HPI and see if there are any rules. From what I understand it is pretty relaxed. There will be over a dozen DPR engines there this year so our chances of putting a couple on the podium are very good.

I have been testing a 25.4cc engine with some new porting for oval. I have hit 19k RPM under load with it running the ice. The 28.5 has similiar porting and initial testing is going very well.

The Nationals are dirt oval and dirt off road. I hear rumors of a dirt drag race class allso.

Ok here is an update on the build. I managed to scrape a little time for myself late sunday. Other then a few minor adjustments the Chassis is ready for action.

Body should be in paint within the next couple weeks. I have all the vinyl masks, just need some time.

I like that, doesn't look overdone but still with a nice list of hopups

Those DS Toobz seem popular, how do the stock cups hold up with after market bones and powerplants ?

This is the first set I have owned. the price is right on them and I had a set of stock cups kicking around so I figured I would give them a try. I have split alot of stock cups without the toobz. Hopefully this helps out. Stock cups are pretty hard so I would expect the pin to wear out first. All else fails I will put a set of PD cups in.
