Introducing the BodySax/MTC water cooled twin motor

It is finally here! The 50,8 CC twin from MTC and BodySax - the inventor of twin motors in our Bajas.

This motor is a true beast with more that twice the power of a standard RCMK 25,4 CC. Its water cooled billet case allowing the 2 cylinders to sit right next to each other as well as the use of only one flywheel are just some of the basic requirements of being able to fit a twin into a HPI Baja.

The motor uses two standard crank shafts that has been modified and coupled with a special pressure coupling. Additional the crank case is upgraded with larger bearings around this coupling for added durability.
At the rear of the motor the two source coils for the ignition and water pump has been neatly packed in and closed of with a standard pull starter, whereas the front bolts on any standard clutch house just like on a standard motor. The cylinder heads, pistons, crank shafts and carburetors are all standard RCMK superior quality for the maximum performance and easy upgradability or replacement.

The motor comes ready to run including the mechanical driven water pump, capable of delivering 120 L/h of constant cooling for this power plant.
Additionally we have added a primer bulb that injects fuel deeper into the motor for even easier starting of the motor.

This motor is sold in a kit with 1,5 m cooling hose, radiators and 4 Y splitters for correct cooling connections and other hardware to build in the motor (using the build in kit).

It is recommended to be used together with the build in kit consisting of a new tranny plate, a new rear chassis plate and a new lay shaft.

Additional the driver will need an exhaust system. Currently we recommend the Victory ProPipe specially made for this beast.

Choose to drive it with two air filters or just one air filter using the
Air Filter Bridge.

Comes with 1 year warranty."

think is about 2000 dollors ......... looking very nice indeed . yeah rem seeing the rad in the roofchopper build

just knotoced you have to tune each cylinder separatly. getting them ballanced will be fun

This is very easy and does not pose a problem......
You can see it on the smoke and the spark plug color as well as the temperature of the smoke or the cylinder head.
Problems are more in the area of controlling all of this power. Guess some will state that this is exactly the point of this motor. This is the most powerfull motor on the marked for a Baja so far.
Don't know the exact price at e.g. MMR yet. Hopefully MMR will get it on the page soon. the first motor is no its way to them as we speak.

so for winter running would u need anti freeze aswell in the cooling system

id say you would have to run coolant as water would corrode alloy head and rads

You should use destilled water and no coolant.
I don't park my baja outside. When it is outside it is running and then the water is nice and warm
